Rex Haney Awarded Victor Lerner Award
 Rex Haney receives the Victor Lerner Award from BPAA President Jim Sturm
Rex Haney, Topeka received the Victor Lerner Medal for a lifetime of service to the bowling industry. The medal is the highest honor in the bowling business and represents Rex's induction into the BPAA Hall of Fame located at International Hall of Fame and Museum relocated to the International Bowling Campus in Arlington, TX. Rex is being cited not only for his service, but also for helping lead BPAA into the new century. Rex's leadership to BPAA occurred on all levels including, but not limited to BPAA president 1998-2000 and interim CEO in late 1999-2000 during BPAA's CEO search, member of the board of directors, committee work and serving the Kansas State BPAA.
Rex and his wife Kathy are proprietors of Gage Bowls in Topeka which includes Gage Bowl North and Gage Center Bowl. Rex is also currantly president of Kansas USBC Youth and Kansas State USBC Youth.

Rex Haney, Topeka and Bob Johannes, Shawnee were inducted into the Kansas State Bowling Proprietors Association Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn Select of Wichita on June 2 with 60 attendees. Rex is proprietor of Gage Bowl North and Gage Center Bowl, Topeka and served as KSBPA president from 1989-1990. Bob is proprietor of Park Lanes, Shawnee and Ranch West Bowling Center, Kansas City and served as KSBPA president from 1995-1996. Bob is also currantly serving as BPAA Regional Director.

Carol Mackey, Anthony was awarded the Kansas State Proprietor of the Yeat award. Carol was presented the award by BPAA President Jim Sturm on June 22 at BOWL EXPO in Las Vegas. Carol is the proprietor of Park Hill Lanes, Anthony. |
